Using a personal photograph, the artist creates an eight-layer plaster portrait as she embeds up to 4 ounces of ash cremains into the work. This allows the final resting place to be as unique as the love that was shared. Whereas most fine art discourages touch, the grieving pet owner will have a ‘Touching Way to Remember’.
How it works:
1) Submit 3 - 5 photos of your pet for the artist to chose from. Close up photos work best.
2) You will send up to 4 oz of ashes (depending on size of portrait).
3) Your pet's ashes are mixed into the plaster and an eight layered plaster portrait is created
4) Your portrait is shipped direct to you
Once we receive your order you will receive details on where to send photos and a prepaid envelop with instructions for collecting and shipping the ashes. Please know that your pet's ashes are always handled with care and dignity.
